When they assign your base, just let them know what airport you need a parking pass for. If it is not one of our outstations or bases, they will Fed-Ex you a check for whatever Airport Authority to get your parking pass.

Someone may be able to give more up-to-date info than me, but last I heard/read, they will reimburse you for parking only up to the amount they would have paid for you to park at your base. So, if you are based at IAH and their deal with IAH was for $40/month, and you have to pay $50/month to park at Spiffytown Municipal, you'll be reimbursed $40.

Of course, I haven't been a commuter in a while, so I don't know if this is still the policy.

That makes me wonder, if you are based at an outstation that has free parking, and your home airport has paid parking, would this mean they would not reimburse you at all?

Has anyone been interviewed yet? Are you required to take their 50 question ATP question test if you've already taken your ATP written?..

Anyone interviewing in Orlando?...or have already interviewed?..I need some guidance

Yes you do need to take the written. Everyone does it. Just study ATP, the most recent multi you've flown...know FARs and systems. In the SIM you will do an instrument takeoff with vectors to a hold....call out the entry correctly and you don't (didn't) have to fly it. Vector for an ILS which you will never break out of...once you go missed sim is paused and ride is over. They call you in a couple of days.

Good luck.

Smittey pretty much nailed it except when I flew the sim during the last round you did break out and were given the option to land it. Not sure if they'll keep it the same next time but you never know.

Yes, the 50q written is given whether you have the ATP written done or not. You might as well get it done anyway, you will need it to attend class with Colgan.

Thanks for the info!..what's passing for the ATP..I really don't feel like going through that book again!..suggest any free ATP prep software?..or even some cheap test prep software?

Thanks!
