If I had a strong preference for a certain base then I would go with whichever airline has a base there, but I think in 5-7 years it won't matter because we'll all be on the same seniority list.

For guys that just interviewed with skywest, what did they have you do? I was looking for a current posting, but no luck.

How many guys/gals are still left in the pool here? Any word on a class coming up?

I'm not sure how many are left in the pool but from what we are hearing on the inside the numbers needed for the first half of the year keeps increasing. I'd expect the pool to be exhausted well within the first Q.

Word is that many of the New hire UAL furloughs who got to bypass all the emb fos with a bid in for the jet have their bids in for and are happy to take Houston as their base. So are the CAL guys gonna deny them the jumpseat as well?

I commute out of IAH and so far most of the CAL guys have been reasonable about the whole situation.
