If you take an EMB job is there any restriction to how fast you can cross to the jet if you have the seniority? Basically the question is if you get hired for the EMB then they do a Jet class a month or two later can you switch over or are you stuck for a predetermined period of time?

You are seat-locked for one year. After that, you can transition based on seniority and availability. The seat lock is waived if you have the seniority and flight time to upgrade, but the odds of that happening are very low although some folks did it on the EMB a few years ago.

Been on reserve as a bro fo for 3 years now with no hope in sight of moving to the jet. I did finally get a line this month though, so I got that going for me, which is nice. Food stamps have also been very helpful.

How was reserve on the Bro? Were you flying much or were you able to spend days in the spring surfing riverdale? I've got my app in and am hoping for an interview. Ideally I would like the Bro to guarantee a western base.

Newty biatched about the experience every single day, for three years straight. He's probably not going to blow any sunshine up your butt...

I applied the other day, what does it take to get a call from Skywest these days? I have an internal recommendation, and a CL-65 SIC Type just shy of 500 hours experience on the CR7. I even have that fancy Regional Jets Standard program from ATP! haha. Any recommendations on grabbing their attention? I'm a west coast guy and I have always wanted to fly at Skywest. Will currency be an issue?
