I just updated My app on their website and on airlineapps.com. I have my fingers crossed.

Are they hiring for the Brazilias? If so what is the junior base right now?

All newhires will go to the EMB; the only folks who would get a CRJ newhire class are UAL furloughs. Fresno is currently the most Jr. base and the most likely straight out of class. However the last 2 classes received quite a few SLC and PDX awards. Plan of FAT but you may end up a different base if you want it and with the classes planned it shouldn't take long to get the base you want unless something changes.

I heard that there are still about 40 or so more UAL slots to fill and that there are over 100 in the pool. So if that is the case, when will they need to hire pilots that they may interview over the next little while?

34 slots remain for UAL after this last CRJ class was assigned starting 11/29 (it's looking like this will actually start on 12/6). Concerning the pool I have no idea how many are still waiting. I have a friend who is in the 12/6 EMB class and he was very close to the bottom of the pool. This doesn't mean there aren't some who had to bypass this last class offer or didn't respond due to the short notice and are still waiting. I have no idea how many but it's not 100. If you're application isn't on file and you are interested I'd get it done now.

Cheers

Been updating my airline apps application continuously. Just submitted the online app on the Skywest website as well. Do they look at one or the other to decide if they want to call you or not? Hopefully will hear something soon.

I noticed on the website it says for the EMB training some of it takes place in Fresno as well as Long Beach after you finish ground school in Salt Lake. Just curious if they are still doing it this way and if so if you receive any per diem during training perhaps the portion when you are away from SLC.

EMB new hire: All ground in SLC (3 weeks: 1 wk Indoc, 2 wks systems), a few days of FTD in FAT and a week or so in LGB for sim. 70 hours pay per month, dual occupancy hotel throughout (Ground, FTD, SIM) and no Per Diem. All together about 5-6 weeks till IOE.

No Per Diem till IOE because you're not based in your domicile until completion of your sim. After your sim check ride your monthly pay goes up to 75 hrs MMG plus Per Diem.
