It's just getting old for passenger service. No longer in production, parts are getting more expensive. I also enjoyed my time flying it but am glad to have moved onto the jet. A fun plane to fly, but glad it's in my past.

I totally remember that! It was a kid in the class behind me, total douche! The good ole' days. Should have stayed at SkyWest.
Not a myth. A fact. It happened three years ago when I went through my Captain upgrade training. A new hire FO and some of his new hire buddies went out drinking to blow off some stress during their new hire training.
Some people obviously do not know when to say enough booze is enough booze. The excrement at issue made it down the hotel hallway carpeting and smeared down the hotel hallway walls. This comes straight from the mouth of the Director of Training at that time - Mr. V. H.
Lovely, huh?

The "Candlewood Crapper" was in my newhire class. He struck in dec 04. He got locked out of his room because there is no one working the front desk between 11-6.

Hello All,
Due to staffing needs we are will be running two EMB New Hire Classes, 20 students in each class, on August 30th and September 13th.
In order to be fair and consistent I am offering these slots to the entire pool based on the date of your interview, regardless of the aircraft you were “ear-marked” for. I would like to accommodate each of you with the class date that works best for you. The first class is over two weeks away so you will be able to give a full two week notice to your current employer.
Please email me your response asap. Due to this time frame, please contact me as soon as possible via email. I will try and answer my phone as I am able.
This is indeed great news!
I look forward to speaking with each of your in the coming days.
