You won't get it as a newhire right now. Probably most jr FO is around 2.5 year mark.

OBVIOUSLY ASK !!!

I had mulit-jet crew time at my interview and was still required to fly the sim. I was in the second to last RJ class that Skywest hired in 2008. I also went and paid for some sim time just in case and I'm glad I did.

Yea it's all up to them. I was from Mesa and still had to fly it but they told me it was because my total time was pretty low still.

I was in that class, but didn't have to fly the sim for my interview. Weird

Are there any poolies currently working at other regionals that are intending to take up a job with Skywest, should the opportunity arise? How would Skywest look upon that?

Friendly,
I would imagine that being a poolie coming from another regional would be positive because you are current in the exact type of operation SkyWest has.To the guys asking about DEN being senior you have to realize that although the most junior guy there has 2.5 years, the most junior guys here at SkyWest have over 2 years of seniority. So when things start chugging again it will take far less than 2.5 years to get based in DEN.

Agree, but if we're only talking about a class or two, it will be eons before any new-hire gets to stop doing an HMU solenoid check.
