Where will new-hires be placed and what equipment? I'd prefer Houston. I'd also prefer the Q but it doesn't matter.

My guess you'll go to the Saab in IAD or some other outstation. I'm sure most current pilots will want to transition to the Q for the equipment and better pay... wait? What?

Sure would be nice for those planes and jobs to be on the seniority list of the pilots who are paying for them....

Does anyone know if Colgan pays a salary and/or for ones hotel while in training?

Agreed, as long as your disgust is aimed towards Pinnacle Corp, and not us. We were just an airline that needed some funding, and PNCL saw an opportunity. Don't blame us.

Back on topic, Colgan pays $50/day and pays for your hotel while you are in training, at least that's what the deal was when I was hired. I haven't heard of that changing.
