If I was at colgan I could actually give your statement credit, if you READ my post I said a few of my buddies are senior captains at Colgan. If you don't believe me USMC can tell you that I don't work for colgan because he flies with my one of my buddies (MM) a majority of the time. So please spare me the angry face, its healthier to smile

You're "Who ME?...I never" , attitude is glaringly obvious. Your point about applying is similar to the idiot hippies with bumper-stickers "What if they threw a war and nobody came?"

Colgan flies truboprops for bad pay and workrules...we get it! Isn't that the way it's supposed to be? If they were paying that wage to someone flying a 90 seat jet that would be wrong...(and this would be a Republic thread).
I love how you get all offended when someone says the word scab, but specifically states the Colgan pilots aren't scabs.

I guess the point I was making went WAY over your head.

I also love your comparision to the 90 jet flying be wrong. So its ok to fly for low wages on the 70 seater, but its wrong to do it on a 90 seater? Wow, no wonder we don't get descent pay on these things.

I don't work at expressjet. What does there "leader" have to do with Colgan?

Anybody heard anything from Colgan? How long until they contact you? where's the interview? what are your times? any info would be great. As much as I'd like to hold out for my regional of choice, there's just not much out there right now. Compared to my current job, Colgan would be a step up. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Back to your regularly scheduled whining....
You should hold out for a better choice. Trust me when I say it is not a step up from your current job.

The Colgan pilots are in contract negotiations and the best leverage you and others can give them for getting a decent contract is by not accepting a job at Colgan. Trust me when I say you are better off not making $18,000/year and being away from home most of the time.

Wait for them to get a better contract and then go there.

No one called anyone a scab. A person interested in applying there just assumed HE was called a scab.

Wow you guys are easily offended. Lighten up.

As for pertinent information on Colgan. No one should go there because that would do the best at getting the Colgan pilots a better contract.

You have zero credibility in what you say. ZERO 0.0. What airline do you work for? What airline experience do you have? That's right, no answer...like I said ZERO CREDIBILITY.

Almost all of your posts of your "new" acct is about Colgan and how people should not go there. I ask again, where do you work? CA or FO? Huh Huh?? That's what I thought..

I do not know what is more sad, you continue to live on this thread waiting to respond to a post of the fact the sites Mods have no idea that you are just in it to cause trouble.

Oh, one question....What airline do you work for? Exactly!

Wow, I'm trying to help you here. Take a note from USMC when he says that by no one going to Colgan would probably help you obtain a better contract.

I'm amazed Juice that you don't see this. You really should be discouraging everyone from going to Colgan, because it will help YOU greatly.

Why do you get so offended when people are trying to give new Colgan applicants a little truth? Don't you see I am trying to help you?

Talking up Colgan to new applicants is not going to help you get better pay at Colgan.

What airline I work for does not matter. If I'm a CA or FO??? Why would that matter. Grow up Juice... I'm am trying to help YOU get better pay here.

Congrats on securing the interview! Get ready for winglets to tell you that you are making a mistake. Don't worry about it just do what you think is right. If you don't mind me asking, when is your interview? Also when they called did they seem flexible on the date? I'm out of town for another 2 weeks with the current job and am hoping they will be flexible if they call.
