Not that I am saying the above job is perfect I'm just trying to stir up something here because its just so bad in the US, the US is so far off the rails these days its not even funny anymore.

Aviation Insurance
2 years
$75,000
182 -350 hrs a year and home everynight or almost everynight. I know it's not a full time flying gig but it's a pretty nice deal.

I don't have the breakdown, I might get it later depending on how lazy I am

I know Tony had some issues with SKW, but are some of you guys that entrenched with aviation that you would go work in Africa to make a living as a pilot?

Jesus............there is life outside of airplanes, and a hell of a lot more money.

No offense but the most depressing aspect of this whole thread is people being jealous of a guy having to fly a CRJ in Africa for a sad 60k a year.................
Now that is just an ignorant statement. The man is probably having the time of his life, with the experience he is gathering there he can write his own ticket to places like Eithad/Emerates/Singapore Airlines flying brand new equipment instead of old POS emb 145 destined for the boneyard sooner rather than later. Maybe Saabrowski, it's not about money, its a chance for a little adventure in one's life. I am pretty sure you could not handle it but he can and so you are secretly jealous.
Get a life saab.

About what I'll make as a CA. Will then be my second year. And, yes, the US airline biz is so not funny!!!

Another thing different is frequent parties with young, hot FA's that are a long way from home.
