Professionalism while Jumpseating/RAH
So I just have to know why anyone feels they should deny or give attitude toward any crew member at RAH trying to jumpseat to work/home? I already have experienced this first hand and have talked with numerous others that have as well. Are there really CA's out there that believe that we stole the YX flying? Do they think we all voted or took concessions to get this new flying. The truth is not 1 pilot at RAH had any clue as to the whole YX buyout. Not one crew member was hired here knowing any of this would happen. Should we really be punished? If there are any Captains who feel that all RAH (Chautauqua, Republic, Shuttle America, Frontier, Lynx) should not have jumpseating rights on their aircraft please at least identify yourselves to us and your jumpseat committee so appropriate action may be taken. The aircraft at YX were sold/returned before the buyout. The YX management screwed each crew member there, yet you feel the blame lies with RAH crewmembers? Who are you and who do you work for?

You guys could have demanded the Midwest pilots be integrated into your seniority list immediately.
Instead you rolled over, and did as you were told.
You're Teamsters. You cannot help but think only for yourselves.
The pilot group as a whole at Republic is rotten to the core sadly. Sure there are some good folks, but if there was any prevalent decency the Midwest Airlines pilots would have been taken care of.
You want someone to pat you on the head and tell you it is ok? No, not going to happen when kids cannot go to school next semester, mom cannot get that surgery she needs for her back, and you have to move out of the house you lived in for 20 years because the dirt cheap $1500/mo mortgage at a very low rate is too cost prohibitive with all your other obligations taking more priority.
Yeah. Think about that. That is why you will continue getting denied by folks with a spine.

Actually people are denying, that's why I brought up this topic. Just wanted a fair and balanced response the judge whether I should start paying to non-rev or am okay to continue jumpseating? Real mature with the little girl comment, surely you are not a professional in any form!

Actually, when we were shopping for unions, ALPA didn't want to have anything to do with our 200-ish pilot group, so we had to go with Teamsters by default. And, other then putting out a tearjerker video after Midwest's last flight, what did ALPA do to help out Midwest?

Haven't we been through all of this before? The horse is dead, stop kicking it. Starting a thread like this is pointless and will get you absolutely nowhere.

If it makes you feel better to screw with other people's lives to make a point, I guess that makes me a better person so thank you. EVERY SINGLE crewmember I know here at RAH would have voted for Midwest crews to be integrated ASAP. That vote never came, so I'm sorry! I knew Midwest crews and they seem to place most of their anger at their own managment (now chillin' at the Pine Lake CC), yet some of you want to take it all out on us, so be it I guess.
