Has anyone interviewed at Air Whiskey within the last few months? I have an interview there coming up this week. Are the gouges still up to date? Or have they changed things up a bit? Any info would be appreciated!

I interviewed in June/July, don't know if things have changed. Flew into Milwaukee, drove to Appleton, they have a hotel discount if you stay at the hotel, info provided on the interview sheet that they e-mail you. Everyone meets with HR lady in the morning, she collects documents, don't forget to notarize that one sheet before showing up, then up split up and get interview block times for when your interview is scheduled. It's a typical interview with the CP, DO and HR. The questions vary from person to person, but max airspeed AT 10,000ft was one of the common questions asked. They ask questions from Jepp charts, I got "what's this circle (MSA), how would you fly this DP, 'tell me about a time' type senarios, why AWAC, have you ever failed a checkride, where you ever asked to resign, do you have an FCC, 1st class medical, what would you do if your CP told you to fly a new profile on your first day that was never done in training", entire interview was about 20 mins, no sim, no written test. Everyone was very nice, extremely friendly and professional. It appears that they only hire U.S. citizens... good luck on your interview!

Perhaps you are correct, but I'm basing it on what I've been told... I had a couple of people PM me before the interview and mentioned that AWAC only hires U.S. citizens. I told HR about my citizenship status over the phone interview, heard back after a month for an interview date but got a "no, thank you" e-mail a week after the interview. Maybe me and the other non-U.S. citizens who interviewed and didn't get hired weren't AWAC material, who knows?! I have a naturalization interview next month so at least at my next airline interview I'll know it shouldn't be a factor.

If you didn't get the job its not because you aren't a US Citizen. Its because you weren't what we were looking for.

Gajre, I'm not having a go at you personally, getting knocked back from any job sucks but why would AWAC go to the trouble of having you go to ATW and interview, only to say no? Especially after you'd told them you weren't a citizen!!
If you'd got the thumbs up, you'd have had a US passport before you even started IOE. So, I think you might want to look elsewhere for the reason it wasn't a positive outcome.

Disclaimer: My post was intended as information for people looking for interview experience at AWAC since no one posted anything else. It is not intended to spread "BS", to those interviewing, take it for what it's worth and make your own decisions.
As I've said before, I posted what I did based on what I've been told by pilots that sent me PMs prior to my interview with AWAC. Notice I said "it appears that they don't hire U.S. citizens", no concrete statement... maybe it's a new thing that they started recently with limited hiring... I don't know and neither do you.
You do know that you're repeating what I've already said below, right?
Thank you for not doing that, by the way (unlike the poster above you). The only thing that I can think of is that the people calling for interviews and people making hiring decisions are not the same.
I decided to file for citizenship after the interview process to bypass Category I TSA approval. It wouldn't be done in time for training if I would have got hired since the whole process takes about 4-6 months. Could there be another reason why it wasn't a positive outcome? Sure... maybe... I'll never know, which I why I filed for citizenship to be sure next time.
