Ive heard that proper staffing means 10.3 pilots per airplane....dont ask how they got a decimal in there....but based on the current amount of pilots to airplanes?? we are about 70 guys short!

If one more major decides to have a hiring spree I we will be screwed!!

I believe so. He was CFI at Flightsafety that probably had some deep connections.

I work at FlightSafety and havent heard of anyone getting hired at AWAC.(other than someone who is no longer with us, more than 600 hours however.) On a lighter note, my application hasn't even been looked at yet, and I put it in 2 or so weeks ago. Someone "connect" me!

What?! Good for him/her... but I have over 1,200. I'm a CFI and I never been called.

yeah, well, i have over 1300TT and 500 multi and can't get a call but a girl working at our company just got hired there with 900/15. She had no connections either!!! ***?
