I'm pretty sure the bottom 495 at NJA weren't planning on leaving either, but unfortunately its not up to them in a couple weeks

Hang on.......have the management and the union come to an agreement on the United flying?

Or

Is this 'extra' flying on the US Airways side?
Yeah, this airline is a joke. Training, Scheduling, Recurrency training - all the pits. Stilll stuck in the 80s - using fear tactics and intimidation, and even sexual discrimination. But the Chief now plays it off like its his biggest priority. What a laugh! Sell your boat and divorce your wife pal - then maybe we'd all start taking you seriously. Otherwise you can expect more of the same "yes sir no sir" followed by a finger as you walk away!
Stay away... you've been warned

Just an update at AWAC, all the furloughs are being offered recalle come mid april. So I've heard that interviews will be starting in feb or march. I've also heard up to 30 new pilots are possible but things can change quickly. Good Luck to anyone who has applied, its going to be a tough job to get with everyone on furlough.

Your CP was a Captain here on the RJ for quite a few years. Thus, he has a type. He may not be current, but he is certainly qualified. It's allways better to have your facts straight before you go talking like a big shot to the public forums.

With all of the furloughed pilots recalled (as of April), the CP might actually be able to start flying the line.

Swanson - Maybe you should leave if you are so unhappy and let one of the fine pilots on this thread have a job they would appreciate.
