Yep. Hang in there, log your 1500 hours and go to a Regional. I would recommend if possible go to a good regional though. Don't go somewhere you will be treated badly hoping for a quick upgrade. Quality of life at SkyWest or ExpressJet is much better then some of the others.

Have you considered crop dusting? There is a growing shortage of cropdusters and pay is good--a lot better than the rancid regionals. If interested i'd contact the National Agricultural Aviation Association.
