So recall notices are sent blindly. Pilots are completely in the dark about it with NO announcement at all. Phone calls to the company are not being returned, etc.

It makes one feel so used and manipulated. The total lack of respect and treatment like a human being with a family and decisions to make is just so far from the thought process of these clowns. Its no different than placing an order for used parts or something. You just place the order and no need to deal with the human element.

Its a shame that this is the way it is...on many levels.

Why not just announce they're getting the UA flying, do the recall, and then hire the rest? I doubt UA cares how TSA finds pilots, just as long as the planes take UA's customers from A to B on schedule.

Maybe because they didn't get the UAL flying? Just a thought.

They want only the truly loyal and faithful. Or stupid, could be stupid too...

If they did get the flying we would have been given class schedules last week. This isn't just additional flying, if they're talking about bringing all of us back and UA is even asking for that it would also mean extra airplanes. TSA does not have the airplanes for 130 more of us. There's the UA RFP out, the CHQ 50 seat flying that's done next month. So it's not that simple, at least it looks like it now, give them more time.

Isn't that the normal over at TSA? Why would you expect anything more from Hulas and his croanies?

It is that simple. Hulas has done all of this before. He is just doing it to a new group of people this time.

Has done what? All I got is a one paragraph letter that says we might have classes in Dec. I'm not holding my breath because it would seem like a big windup to go from no pilots and planes to extra flying for UA.

My point exactly, you guys on furlough there have, excuse the quote, "no frame of reference". It's like watching a bunch of Donnys from the Big Lebowski.

When old uncle hooley was bidding on the CAL flying that went to CHQ years ago he hired a bunch of pilots thinking he got the flying, they went through training and by IOE.....FURLOUGHED! Then, not too far after recalled some only to furlough for a few months again.

All jokes aside they probably have that in mind. At least in dollar terms.
