The idea of Osama receiving a fair trial sickens you? And you consider yourself patriotic? To what nation? We, in the US anyway, are a nation of laws and principals. If we suspend due process for one then we can suspend it for all. If we deny rights to one we deny rights to all. I'm no friend of Osama but if we catch him then he his case should handled in accordance with the law. He should be properly represented and have his day in court. If that makes you sick then you have a problem with the principals upon which this nation was built.

Francis Bellamy (1855 - 1931), a Baptist minister, wrote the original Pledge in August 1892. He was a Christian Socialist. In his Pledge, he is expressing the ideas of his first cousin, Edward Bellamy, author of the American socialist utopian novels, Looking Backward (1888) and Equality (1897).
The words "under God" were added in 1954 by then President Eisenhower, who stated at the time, "In this way we are reaffirming the transcendence of religious faith in America's heritage and future; in this way we shall constantly strengthen those spiritual weapons which forever will be our country's most powerful resource in peace and war."
It is a pledge written by a religious socialist and then altered by the guy who help establish and coin the phrase military industrial complex.
Learn your history clones.

Have fun driving your gas guzzling Saudi Arabia supporting, Canadian built F-150 with your Osama bumper sticker! At least my Honda, built in Ohio, wasn't supported with taxpayer money.
