Rumor I heard is:
NMB was minutes from releasing Pinnacle, but WG stepped in and told the NMB not to because we were very close on a deal. This was done without anyone else's knowledge.
Not sure if there is any truth to this though.
I'm sure Mr. Higney has more info of this

Would this be the NMB's way of saying that in the current climate no matter how much your job sucks you should keep it and be happy....geez

in one word, yes. they have to report to congress and explain how and what led up to them releasing us and with the current unemployment numbers where they are, the NMB is not going to put their arse's on the line and release us.

They just released some other carrier... Like 1300 more people on umemployment matters. That will affect the rate by .00001%.
