Unhappy ASA is furloughing... it's official

ASA is right now calling pilots and telling them they will be furloughed. Official announcement to come this afternoon.

Several people tried to discuss it on ourASA and corp. comm censored it, telling them they can't talk about it until this afternoon.

At least they are calling you guys, I didn't get a call, email or anything, just a letter right before Xmas Eve. Now that's class! Merry X-Mas!

Sorry and good luck to everyone at ASA.

Sorry to hear. To those getting furloughed, arm yourselves with as much info as possible, (i.e. unemployment bennies, WIA -specially if you commute-, etc). Good luck!.

Good luck to all of those who are getting notified today, I sure hope we are getting to the bottom of this nightmarish time, so we can start to add jobs, not take them away!

It's good to see our Union is really stepping in. (Sarcasm!)

How long does our CRJ-200 contract last with Delta? I'm wondering if I'll even make it back before all 110 are sent to the desert the day that contract expires.
