We have 15% (which is "target" according to Mgmnt) reserves for peak season so I'd say yes, come off peak we will be fat, but not to the tune of 36% reserves. Also keep in mind that we are still receiving jets but we are also ending MidEx (less than 4% of our flying) so who knows. If we don’t furlough it will be due to picking something else up whether it be at the expense of mainline UAL or MAG .

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, furloughed ASA guys will be the first to be brought on at Skywest when the need for more pilots arises there. So I wouldn't wish furlough on anyone, especially the company that could potentially be your next employer.

You are absolutely correct, however there is NO need for SKW to have a base in ATL. According to Jerry there was no need for ASA to have a base in SLC, so following the same logic, why does SKW have a base in ATL. We have the 900 now, so there aren't any more excuses for it. Speaking of which, I saw a SKW 200 in there the other day.......

Incorrect. What do you think the model was for the SKYW LOA? As always, the union carriers do the work for them and they just run it through the copy machine.

I agree and we’ll just have to see what the future holds. Remember that once the purchase of ASA was complete they didn’t give ASA the boot in SLC for some time. Also remember that 5 of our CR9's are ATL based so in order to give ASA all the ATL CR9 flying Mgmnt would have to transfer. Unfortunately I agree with ASA pilot’s perception that they are step children so I don’t see the transfer happening.

Once again the obvious has been point out as if it's some shocking new revelation.

What! You guys have got to be kidding me. You all know the next time contracts come up we will continue the SKYW whipsaw game. We need to be a unified pilot group!!!!!! It doesn't matter who deserves what!!!! it's about skywest playing the game. They will never have to deal with with a fully unionized pilot group on both sides working together if you keep the same attitude of **** ASA anyways... We have to work together because it's in our best interest.......................................... .................................................. .................................................. ........ I give up

Easy or you’re going to have a coronary. And I agree you should give up, you’re assuming and you know what they say about assumptions.

BTW, I’m Pro-ALPA and I support a merger but that doesn’t change the fact that your original posting was ridiculous. But you're right, we will be whipsawed against one another but the boat sailed on merging when Jerry and friends bought you guys out of your language. Of course when the time comes ASA pilots will point their fingers at SKW pilots because we're non-union, claiming we're the reason for this cluster. Remember that our best chance at one voice died with your new TA so that means the majority at ASA are just as guilty as the majority at SKW when the battle begins.
