Default New Pass Travel Program for 9E

wow...hard to believe this is the last weekend to enjoy the flight benefits we once had under NWA. Beginning next week, it'll be a different ball game.

I had the benefit of flying upperdeck of a 747 recently and sat there and thought "only 1 time per year will I be able to do this internationnaly from this point on..and IF seats are available in WBC at that particular time I fly"..
I know this has been beaten already but it's just really sad the way Delta is treating Pinnacle - we're THE LOWEST paid of all regionals and we have to PAY MORE for our parents to fly (Zed High), we lose our buddy passes, we're being limited on transoceanic passes (a whopping "3" per YEAR) and, depending on seniority now, we will be boarding behind a Compass employee's parent on our own aircraft.

Geesh, remember when US Airways attempted for a hostile takeover of DL for $10B and the Delta employees everywhere wore buttons, ribbons and lanyards--"Keep Delta MY Delta"? I wish now Northwest would have "kept Northwest THEIR Northwest" ..wonder how different things would be? Even though Pinnacle has made some bone-headed decisions and was spun-off by mainline NWA, at least they considered us part of their family, whereas DL is showing how they really feel about 9E.

Did Uncle Phil really have the option of having a better flight benefit program for Pinnacle and turn it down 'coz of costs????

Yeah I know it's better than nothing but absolutely nothing compared to what we had.

Not sure what the hell 9E is but I doubt it is Great Lakes. They are the lowest paid regional.

according to google, 9E stands for 9th Elsewhere, an online comic.

Seriously though...Is it that hard to type out "Pinnacle Airlines"?

Delta touts how well they treat their employees.. Well it's true, they just do it on the backs of anyone else they possibly can, including the outsourced ramp/gate agents/regional employees. Delta really leads the way when it comes to self serving hypocrisy. They will reap what they sew, it will all come back to them in the end.

No Uncle Phil had no choice....the pass bureau said that we are stuck with what Delta has given us because we are just a VENDOR COMPANY....

The email of great concern from Good Ole Clive about how they were going to protest and ask for more consideration last week when Delta paid a visit to HQ was just more smoke blown up our collective A$$es.

Yes I can't wait to use my 1.5 round trips overseas in the coming year....geez I wonder how Ill get home after my third international pass....oh that's right.....ZED FARES.

Again most in the 9-E family just sit around and just take the table scraps thus justifying managements ability to continue to walk all over us.....sick of it YET!!!

Perhaps Delta doesn't plan us being around long especially if management doesn't quickly come to some resolution in regards to pilot contract...FOUR YEARS.......Enough is Enough.....there has to be an escape clause for Delta to part ways somewhere in the contract.

They do treat their employees well. They just don't care about the employees at companies who are contracted to do business with them. I'm sure that Pinnacle management couldn't give two figs about any mainline employee.

Why on earth would you possibly think DAL would cut and run if a pilot contract isn't completed. Your contract, when ratified, will add costs. Substantially, if you get the gains you want. How will Pinnacle pay for it? Will DAL have to pay more for the Pinnacle Air Service Agreement? If so, why would DAL pressure Pinnacle management to please, please, please raise our costs so the pilots can get improvements? They won't.

An escape clause for Delta would be through Pinnacle's inability to complete or achieve their performance targets. Not through failure to negotiate a pilot contract. How many overseas trips do you fly for 9E? I realize you are upset about the changes, but you are a vendor. You are contracted employees. In effect, you work for an employment agency that provides services for someone else. I do think you deserve pref travel on your airline, but why should DAL employees give up a benefit for you to travel on us?

Posting airline name codes is not a sign of mental stability.

For the people who get bent out of shape about airline codes... Typing 9E is quicker than typing Pinnacle. Typing CAL is quicker then typing Continental. And so on. If you don't know the code, read more threads on APC, because you're probably not an airline pilot... or just effing Google it. Or just cry harder, if that suits your fancy.

Next, if anyone has ANY SOLID PROOF one way or the other that Pinnacle mgmt. vs. Delta mgmt. had the choice of Pinnacle pass benefits, I'd like to see it, because I haven't yet. And I'd REALLY LIKE TO SEE IT RIGHT ABOUT NOW. All I've heard are rumors one way and the other, which apparently are like *********s. Everybody has one. Somebody prove something, so I know who to be pi$$ed at, ya dig?

Yes, 9E pass benefits are taking a huge dump. That is a fact. What remains to be seen is what effects this will have. Some of us can affect the effects, if you know what I mean...
