Why does that comment bother you? I feel terrible for his family and it is sad that he passed at work, but good/bad/indifferent, it appears that he was was a SCAB. I read this and thought it was sad that to some this is how he will be remembered. I was'nt saying this as a type of "Good riddance", more of how the decisions you make may just follow you until your death, I dunno either way RIP, sad way to go if you ask me

Some just can't let this go. How would you feel if someone rejoiced in you getting furloughed or losing your job? What if this Captain was your father and you were reading this? What goes around comes around and by saying the kinds of things that have been said you've made sure yours is coming. Whatever form it takes, you will surely deserve it.

what? He is dead, who cares if he was a SCAB. Who gives a *******. You have nothing better to do than tell people that a dead pilot was a SCAB? It was a long time ago and has no bearing on you at all. Unbelievable, I am done with this today, too negative for me.

This morning I learned from CNN that a large portion of their broadcast reporting relies upon unsubstantiated Twitter tweets and Facebook comments. It would be funny if it weren't so pathetic, lazy, and lacking of any journalistic integrity.
I think I'll stick to my old fashioned newspapers and nightly news for a quality 30 minutes of news and not 24 hours of garbage.

Did you guys know that first officers are on the plane, only to fly it if the captain dies?
Did you know that first officers can actually fly the plane?
Did you know that First officers can land in IFR conditions - EVEN WITH A CROSSWIND?
Did you know that The Boeing 777 has two pilots, and they sometimes take reserve crews on long flights?

It's funny how you guys jump all over someone for working for GO, but someone who actually crosses a picket line and is a Scab you'll defend!?
I don't know this CA or if he is a scab or not.
I do know my career has been directly affected by scabs. I may have flown with this guy too? I used to be a CA but I had to go back to the right seat to let over 60 guys fly more. Over 60 and scab are not related, but at CAL many scabs were retiring until the age 65 passed.
As I said above, I do not know the name of the CA or if he is a scab or not. I do know that I do not mourn for scabs.
