No I mean like being able to sell back our sick days. That's 4.33hrs a month of extra pay if you cash them in.

Here's an idea just quit. Let a furlough come back then.

hyp-o-crite

noun

1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.

2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

This is what you are if you stay.

Get over yourself. Plenty of regionals pay profit sharing.

Im on my way out. I don't plan on being here much longer. Starting classes very soon and have another job lined up!! I am very excited but will miss all the good guys and gals I work with. Me quitting will not bring another furlough back by the way. We are overstaffed, remember?

Hmmm, you must be one of those regionals that got paid in "hams" for their bonus in '08. Well, I didn't get a ham, rather $1,500k. What'd you get? Zilch, gift card, or ham?

My point was, once you get over yourself, is that fact that '08 was a ROUGH year on the airline industry, and RAH paid out nice bonuses, AND DIDN'T HAVE TO!!!! Which equates to: RAH made profits.

Maybe on CAs but not FOs. We never have any reserves available in STL. I think they are just dodging training costs while they can with all the uncertainty. Are you going to school for the first time or getting your masters? Doing it on-line? I've been consider on-line but don't know who i'd trust yet.

He actually is not talking out of his butt this time. He heard it from our CEO, who does not make major-impact statements lightly.

The obvious answer is UAL...mesa is walking through a minefield right now, one mistep and they are done. JO is a cockroach, but the deck is really stacked against him this time.

NO KIDDING! Log on to USAJOBS sometime and look up the salary range, then go on monster and find an equivalent job that pays even close.

I wish someone would shed some light on that.

I'm finishing up a BA degree I started. Gonna try doing as much online as I can. Never have done online courses before. People tell me it isn't that bad. You just have to have lots of self discipline. Good luck!! That American flying was great by the way. I always liked the American trips when I was on the 145. Enjoy.

Online courses are good...don't know if I'd take an entire degree via the internet, but to finish up with they are solid gold. Good luck!

Oh, and I'm with you...the American flying out of STL was fantastic. Enjoyed it tremendously while I was over at Trans States (well it was either that or the typical ORD/IAD bullchips)...
