My point was, once you get over yourself, is that fact that '08 was a ROUGH year on the airline industry, and RAH paid out nice bonuses, AND DIDN'T HAVE TO!!!! Which equates to: RAH made profits.

Actually, it was a turkey...and my profit sharing/bonus was more each quarter of 08 than you got for the year.

P.S. "Once you get over yourself"!!!

That got a good laugh LoL

So I suppose this means I need to get rid of my Betty Crocker Apron then? Man, well I will indeed miss those cookies! I fondly remember devouring 13 of them in a single day before I realized how calorie and fat-laden they were (something ridiculous like 320 calories, and 11g fat each)!!

the first midwest trip i ever did i got sick as a dog off those cookies and ended up calling off mid trip. Many other people seem to have had issues with those cookies as well.

Us SkyWest folk must have stronger stomachs than y'all over at RAH then haha...I haven't known anybody to get sick off a cookie or three, but I do know they motivated many of us into the hotel gym every night

NO, I'm not flaming you, but that sounds pretty familiar to what happened back in the 2003-2004 time frame. Not sure if you where there for it or not. But that didn't exactly do good things for the other UAX carriers at the time.
I think you guys are misunderstanding my position in the Q Pay. I want a fair rate or no airframes. I will never vote for a "get them on property first" pay rate much like what happened with the CR7's. My posting was nothing more than my opinion on what would happen here at SKW if Mgmnt put the Q possibility to a vote. I believe it would pass because of all the Kool-Aid drinkers here at SKW. You know the ones; they are the very same ones who approved those CR7's at CR2 rate. They are the very same ones who approved the 0% raise for EMB pilots, 1% for the CR2 and the BS Brad Holt Override (BHO) back in 06. They are the very same ones who voted yes for the last pay increase in 07 even though it was 5% (on average) less than ASA, didn't establish completely separate pay rates for the CR2 & CR7/9's and it included a joke of a COLA.

To date I’ve NEVER voted YES at SKW and if the Q’s went to a vote, it would make it my 5th “NO” vote. But I’m in the minority and I know that most all of the SKW posters on the forum share most of my minority views.

And I agree but we have no unity here at SKW so anything more than a hand out from SKW is impossible.

Yeah, I got a Turkey.......................plus my bonus for the year of 08 was MORE than tripled yours.

Sad but hey, Congrats. This "mine vs. yours" really needs to end. Someone will always have better and someone will always have worse. This doesn't only hold true to the regionals but the Majors as well. It also holds true to every other industry/profession in the world as well.

Hey, I know your post was a quote from someone else. But my 1st response never started out as such, it was those that responded to me SIMPLY stating that '08 was a bad, bad, year.....and we still had a CEO that made us enough money that allowed our co to get SOME sort of a bonus. Yes, "mine vs. yours" is immature, and perhaps defending your own comments or company against hateful remarks can perpetuate the immaturity, I believe. Trashing one airline because of their success, when crews don't make co policy is a shame. So many on here are immature and can't act like grown ups and would rather attack others and be mean-spirited. Can people just "lighten up" a tad?
