Because having 100 seat airplane at any regional is a big erosion of scope and it makes it more likely there will be fewer major airline jobs for us regional pilots to work towards.

Because if the go to a regional, you and I will never get a job at a major airline. Unless you are a regional lifer, you would want them to go to a major airline.
