Not proud to be a pilot.
Pick your head up champ. Low skills they can kiss my ash, and when that master warning goes your alot more help then they will ever be. I agree, the down side when i used to tell people I'm a pilot they thought i had some money in my pocket now I'll tell them i'm a pilot maybe i can get a beer out of it. Plus I've always been in favor of the brib jar when they get on or the tip jar when they get off. I still like flying.

They don't understand that kind of talk, they're only CFIs. They might even drool while they talk.

Last time I checked, fat people can engage the travelling public at the terminal in a 2 way conversation and don't send the message to that travelling public "do not disturb"... sure, I don't like seeing fat slobs with their shirt hanging out, nor do I like to see kids with borderline 20/200 vision... But if we're going to pick battles.. lets start with the backpacks, ipods and doc martins.

At Sporty's, there is a video "How an Airline Captain Should Look and Act" which should be a must to see by every Airline Pilot.

Maybe if the employers in the industry treated pilots, flight attendants, and customer service employees with a little more respect then they would respect their employers and their career choice a little more. Right now they are acting just how they are being treated!
