ASA internship??

Just because you are guaranteed an interview doesn't mean that you're guaranteed a job. Think about this logically..... There is something that this friend of yours is not telling you. I have met some of these interns myself and would NOT hire them. Most of them are great but there have been a few that are complete "tools".
Hell, when I went to school there were only 2 companies offering internships (UAL and TWA), and only 2 people got them every two months. After that, they still had to build their time. I think that too many of you young "folk" think that this is something that you are entitled to. Be thankful that he even got the internship.
Maybe your friend will learn from this experience and "fix" whatever his/her problem was.....
