The idea of RAH purchasing them in and of itself is not impossible, but flying them for any US legacy carrier is.

is the current scope cutoff 90 seats? Believe the 2 class 190 is 94 seats, while the CRJ9's are 88 seats....

USairways 2 class 190s are 99 seats, crj900/emb175 are 86

It wouldn't be easy to pull off, but flying big embraer's might make it a little more feasable....not easy non the less, and you'd have to walk lightly as to not tread on big brother.

Shuttle America did, Republic certificate has had authorization for branded for years, and has wisely chosen not to do so. I know we have been doing alot of military charters and hear rumors of a semi-scheduled vacation charter
