Oh and by the way, if you're at a mainline, and you gave up scope, you've got serious entitlement issues, and no ability to see forward into your future and your career.

Would you also agree with this statement Bond?

Big ego for a regional pilot to say that to a mainline pilot.

Check yourself next time, because the courts took away a lot of that flying.

I took regional out and put mainline in from a post by Bond. Not a big ego just pointing out how hypocritical mainline pilots are for blaming this mess on regional pilots. Ask yourself, did we mainline pilots allow this to happen? Check yourself, and place the blame where it belongs.

Bankruptcy judges didn't take that flying...mainline pilots sold it.

Place belongs mostly with management and the courts, and us regional pilots.
Mainline pilots are not those responsible.

Just because you fly a 170, doesn't mean you have to justify yourself.

Okay, I'll bite...

How did bankruptcy judges take a majority of current regional flying away from mainline pilots?

"Blame" is equally shared among all parties...but who's "fault" it is (regional or mainline pilots) is like the chicken and the egg argument.

Just think of where we'd be if DALPA hadn't been too good to fly the CRJ back in 1991, and instead made it a mainline aircraft instead of letting it go to Comair.

Just think of where we'd be if US Airways, who had some of the tightest RJ scope prior to 9/11, had held the line at a small number of 50 seat jets...and later 70 seat jets.

And finally, think of where we'll be if CALPA doesn't hold the scope line at 50 seat turbojets.

Scope isn't taken, it is SOLD...sold for work rules, sold for narrow/widebody payrates, sold for pension considerations, and when scope is sold it and the jobs associated with it don't ever come back. The sooner you and everybody else realizes that simple fact the sooner regional pilots and mainline pilots can IN UNITY start to "take it back"; until then, it'll be petty sniping at each other.

The sooner you stop blaming the mainline pilots for giving up scope and start accepting the blame with the rest of us regional pilots for taking their jobs, the better chance we have at getting them back at mainline.

Scope was not sold, it was taken under threat.
