It's been said before and I'll say it again, this industry works in cycles. Ya it looks all doom and gloom now but some carriers are recalling. Ya it might be for the summer flying but its better than nothing, who knows the latter part of 09' and early 10' might be looking better than what it is now. And those guys getting recalled may still have their jobs then. Just wishful thinking and my own .02

Oh, I don't know, I spent the $90000.00 in training and hours, received the 3 degrees in aviation, been on the interviews...hired then had my class canceled right after 9/11...basically got the screw enough times to know whats what. And, I still think its a better way of life than living in a cube behind a CRT. But to flip it back on you....you have not lived the cubed IT life, its not all girls and computer games...if it were I'd like it more.

$3000 a month after years of training and sacrifice and 50K in training cost... what about risk of furlough and then you have start all over again. Any college graduate got you beat. You deserve more.
