Yeah sorry that didn't quite come out like I was thinking. Always bad when anyone loses a job but I guess as a fellow pilot I've got a sensitivity to hearing about pilots losing theirs.

A loss of 300 full-time positions at SkyWest, and only a gain of 50 full-time positions at Delta.

Is that fuzzy math?

not really you take the work that 6 people used to do and make one person do it. thats what they did with the CVG ramp crews.

haha, that is funny...really it is. (-: Can you believe that a former skywest guy was even at the council 44 lec meeting today? I even got to vote on something and my vote really counted. What a concept!! I appreciated those that volunteered for sapa but wish that organization had some teeth. Maybe sapa will recommend that average line values go down to min and guys stop picking up open time to prevent furloughs. Too bad there are a few 'all about me' attitudes that will fly to the max as guys are getting booted off the bottom end. As far as that ATL-FAT commute, that sucks...been there done that bought a house in ATL, life much better and cheaper.
