Even Bigger Dash 8

I was thinking about this today and I know you are a mainline guy. Is there scople language in the new Delta contract to protect againts this. They are already over the number on 76 seat jets, but how about turbo-props. This is how Cal was able to get around their scope. No one thought of the props. What do you guys at the new Delta have in the contract to protect againts this. If there is nothing in place now, it should be considered!

I was really hoping the link for that article was going to be The Onion. If they follow through on this I hope they start from scratch and don't just lengthen the fuselage.
SurferLucas, where did you hear about another 15 furloughs? I assume you were refering to Horizon? I know they announced 6 downgrades today but I didn't hear about more furloughs.

What are you doing reading Gene's Corner? Office work slow? Man that sucks. Now I really hope I get that job in Nigeria. We won't be back any time soon.

I was waiting for this to come out. I trained in Toronto in the same parking lot as the factory and when we toured they were talking up this project and that is back in Nov of 2007.
I cant believe they are making the deluxe whacker...and it will STILL be a common type rating.

That is laughable. You think mainline guys will LOWER them selves to fly a turbo prop? If this thing happens you can guarantee it goes to colgan or RAH or Mesa or any insert any regional here.
