I could never figure out why we had planes with the new "Citgo gas station" paint job, but at the same time, still had some of the old 1990's paint job (three paint schemes ago) planes running around.

Normal folks who come out of bankruptcy would watch their spending and take it easy on spending. When DAL came out of bankruptcy, the CEO and others got huge bonuses and then they decided to spend a ton of money on a new paint scheme! Yes, DAL does know how to waste money!

No need to sand or anything
That's like the new paint on OH planes. Look behind the wing and it's already peeling off, and still shiny underneath the new paint.
$55K a plane is the price that maintenance gave me on a CRJ paint job.
Makes sense, a C-152 costs $7500 to paint last I checked.

Can't argue there. There are robber barons running lose among the entire corporate America. I liked the USAToday op-ed yesterday that questioned the CEOs who hate unions and their contracts but then refuse to work unless they are compensated by a huge contract. The guy did a very nice job arguing in defense of what we know.

DAL4EVR or whatever you are a moron. You can't even bring the NWA pilots into your angelic wish I was Navy double breasted bus driver hat wearing fold. On top of that you preach about how the regionals are killing you yet your jackass MEC allows without consulting any pilots at DAL (by the way he and Fat Prater eliminated NWA's MEC) to get away with having too many 76 seat jets. On the premise of there not being any worldwide recession or problems. Gosh, that couldn't happen.

That kool-aid must be sweet.
