The long term lot there is 7$ a day and less than a 5 min walk to the terminal. You can get some sort of pass from the parking office to use it for 3$ if you have a crew badge (at least when I was there you could.) The 3$ was worth saving the hassle for me.

The parking pass office is upstairs in the arrivals section. You have to show them your employee id, proof of insurance, and a vehicle registration and then they give you a card that gets you the rate of $3 per 24 hours. It works at any of the long term parking lots (including the garage that is attached to the terminal). The card has your license plate on it, so it is vehicle specific, but you can get a second one for I think $10.
Hope it helps.

Air Wisconsin is closing the Norfolk base, so there will no longer be an airline with a crew base here. You will be commuting if you want to stay in the area. From talking with the guy I used to fly with, Charlotte seems to be relatively easy as a commute, especially if Newport News is also an option. Other than that, I can give no advice on the subject. Maybe somebody else local will post up for you.

Plan on some adjustments as AWAC flying is re-distributed to the WOs and contract carriers.
