I was talking to a senior F/A at Mesa. She loved the schedules because they see Canada and Mexico and all of the Western U.S. I talked to her on the last day of her 3 day trip. That last day, they were doing SAN-Los Cabos-SAN-PHX. It sounds like they do about 5 hours of flying a day. Keep in mind they use the CRJ900 meaning they fly routes 2 hours and up.

Here is an example of the crap we've had to put up with at AWAC lately. Not commutable on the front end, a terribly unproductive third day, then flying your tail off day 4. At least this particular paring is (mostly) commutable home, unlike some of our other gems...

Default schedules

Geez,
you rj guys want to see a real bad schedule I'll shoot one of mine over here. Try 7-8 legs a day with a 13- 15 hour duty day 6 on 2 off all 28 days of the bid for a total of 8 days off with about 95 hours flying. Oh and only 2 of those days off where in base last bid. another words I got 2 days off in various outstations. Great if you want to see small towns in AR, KS, or SC but not so good if you want to get home.
