Default SKW picks up Port of Moses Lake, WA starting

OTH, LMT to both PDX & SFO; and now SEA - MWH. It's not much but it helps and I still expect more to come.

And subsidized by the people (apparently pledges by businesses mostly) to make sure SkyWest doesn't lose it's you-know-what during start-up...

This is Horizon Air territory. I wonder how they feel about it. I guess I didn't realize Horizon ever stopped flying MWH-SEA.

They don't have the equipment for it. I'm sure they don't want to spend the cash on empty Q400's flying in and out all day...

They obviously don't care ($) seeing they dropped all their Q2's. Remember this, it was NWA & UAL territory before Horizon ever existed.

Ha ha..I guess I'm not old enough to remember that. Good for SKW for picking that one up. I'm sure Moses Hole isn't much of a booming market. I'm just a little jealous...it's my old stomping ground.

Should be fun and I love flying the PNW.

BTW, NWA's SEA/PDX and UAL’s NW flying dates all the way back to the 20's.

Horizon pulled out of North Bend as well. Right after they built a brand new fancy terminal. oops.

That's interesting. I remember airlines from all over the world coming into Moses. Not for scheduled service obviously...just for flight training and such. Especially JAL. Boeing has/had a big presence there as well. I guess I never realized NWA and UAL both had pax service. I just remember hopping on the Horizon Dash 8 over to Seattle. I honestly believe the flight over the Cascade Mountain range on a perfectly clear day is the most beautiful flight there is.
