yeah the lakes job would be nice... but I am still young and building time... hey.. i could be furloughed right now. I look at it with the glass half full usually... just when I am about to quit I think how lucky I am to actually have a job. Pretty much any other job I earn from here will only be better though.

I'm assuming you fly for New Mexico in ABQ. Start talking with our crews there and get one of them to walk your resume in. Also, there are a few NM pilots currently flying at Lakes. Maybe they can help?

To be honest you still have VERY low time. That's not to say they wont hire someone with lesser but it does show that they can definately hand pick who they want. Great Lakes is one regional who's hiring while many others are furloughing. If you're a CFI go that route. Things wont change for a while in the 121 world.
Ya'll know Lynx Aviation is hiring too right now also, don't you. Better option then lakes.

F9 is supposedly doing pretty well and may emerge from bankruptcy sometime this year...

I've heard this from a CA I was in the jumpseat with the other day. He says it looks like they may actually end up hiring before too very long.

Don't they still have something like 50 on furlough?

Yep, he was under the impression they'd be getting called back before long.

"Before long" is a very subjective term. We'll all be recalled before long.
