I agree, i just thought it might payoff for my future to get some time on the airframe, I'm at least a year from ATP mins in the current climate anyway..dont get me wrong, I really enjoy the beech, perfectly capable aircraft...and your right, depending on seatlock I would definatly take the left side of a 1900 over right side EMB.

I've read some of the interview gouges on a few websites and there seems to be some conflicts on whether or not a table top PCATD is used at the interview. Does anyone know for sure or has had an interview in the past month or two. Thanks!

FO's cannot transition, period. If you are an FO on the Beech, there you will stay until you upgrade into the Beech, and if you are an FO on the 120, there you will stay until you upgrade into the Beech or the Bro.

So then, when a seat opens in the Brakillya no bidding, they just pull a guy out of the new class and stuff him there?

That question is very commonly asked on there. It's to the point of being a running joke on the site. That was your main issue. I know you're just trying to prepare, but readytocopy is not a good place to get interview gouge. Most of the people that regularly post on the site have not interviewed with Lakes for years, as they have either been gone from Lakes for years, or have flown with Lakes for awhile. I think most Lakers hold the opinion that if you're worried about passing the sim eval, then there is absolutely no way you will make it through training. I know you're just trying to prepare, and I sure as heck would want to know what to prepare for...I had that same question before I interviewed...

Thanks! That was my first post on that forum and I didn't realize I needed to don my NBC gear or flame suit.

Tracking down a sim profile does not equate to not having the confidence of passing a sim ride. Just common sense to prepare. I did receive a few helpful replies.

Yeah, most of them are actually really cool people, believe it or not. We just operate in a challenging instrument environment, so when there is even a small whiff that someone is nervous about a sim eval, the responses you'll get are really just trying to tell you that the easy little sim eval is the least of your worries, compared to the stuff you will either see in the actual sim, or will see on the line. Like I said, I understand that you're trying to prepare. Everyone does it. It doesn't mean you're scared of the eval, even though some take it the wrong way. Even the ones that gave you a hard time did the exact same thing, pre-interview. I know I did. Preparing shows you actually care about getting the job, in my opinion. Compared to what I've seen in the actual sim, or on line, the 5 minute little sim eval was absolutely nothing.
