I don't see three threads a day of their pilots whining about getting furloughed. Why we have them about ASA?
Seriously?

lol

Wow JP.

Not that I really give a ****, but, because I've recently seen how some of our comrades who still have jobs are gloating and glad as a girl with her prom dress over her head on prom night because of the arrival of our uber long Regional Jet.

It's also great to hear FO's picking up open time to get their 100 credit line values back. Say what you will, but I'm not someone who can be too delighted in such behavior considering one moment they speak of being sorry about the furlough and the next talking about their huge ass line values.

But anyway - not like I'm one to argue with you about anything. Carry on.

I sure as hell hope no more furloughs come. But the same giddy little boys and girls with large RJ dreams in their eyes will be in a world of hurt if the furloughs and displacements come again anytime soon (soon as in within two years) and that little "No Furlough Clause" is tossed into the can since it's not even worth the paper it's printed in.

This thread is listed as ASA Furlough so we have all the right to come to this thread and talk about that topic.

Now.... what part of that was me complaining? OR was it me breaking the logic down for recall and the odds of going back to RES? You don't see other threads of other airlines when their furloughs are announced and effective? You must not read, you want links instead??? But again... this kind of comment is your track record. "can't teach an old dog new tricks"

So JP thinks that we are whining about losing our jobs. This coming from a guy who whined about paying more in travel benefits. Nobody is whining about anything. We have all knew this was part of the industry and we are here just talking about what our next play is. If you don't like the thread just ignore it like you do with everything else when it doesn't revolve around you.

Wow John, did you read my original post to this thread??????? Was I whining? No I wasn't, I was saying thanks. I think everyone else got that, WHY DIDN'T YOU? How about you marinate on that for awhile, and then we can get into another issue.

According to you (so it must be true, right) I guess none of us have any idea what's going on at any other airlines, and we have this "I'm the only one to ever get furloughed" mentality. Are you serious? That's your argument???? That's hard to believe since I find myself on APC frequently, reading posts from all walks of this biz, as I'm sure most all of us do! Come on. This is a pilot forum, where we talk about things like this John! If you can't handle that, YOU should STOP your whining and move on!!! I feel for everyone on furlough, and if they want to discuss it I'll probably read every one of those threads ACEY or not...

You guys have deserved the right to talk about your lives direction via furlough. There are many guys out there with experience in this area. Ask JP if he has ever been furloughed. He hasn't, but yet he will tell you what you CAN and CAN'T talk about!

He is the poster child for an internet tough guy. He provides nothing of substance EXCEPT what he thinks you should do. Remember the remark I made about him having his sights on the MEC in the future, well, word on the street is he has gone after the Scheduling Committee chairmen.

Trust your reps. Daniel knows who I am and can verify I will not steer you in the wrong direction. MW is the guy to speak to. He is a good guy and is very knowledgable. Beware of the guys who are here just to bust you balls, JP is at the top of the list.

Yup! Seabat took care of me when I was a new hire. Showed me the ropes, educated me with ASA and went out of his way to answer my questions. He didn't have to but he did.

Did a 4 day with him too, one of the best guys (of many) I flew with at ASA. Showed me some pretty good tech. in flying the CRJ and was patient. Like our nice close tight visual on the 1st day! (HATE THOSE) He is one of the CAs out there that remembers what it was like to be in our shoes. I also flew with MW before and met him at the ALPA meeting. He is the one heading our furlough committee.

Our union is only as good as the leaders we vote to lead it.
