I'm sorry, but I don't care if it's a 1900 flying EAS routes, or an ERJ. First year pay is awful everywhere. But to have an attitude of "I don't care what the pay is, it's just my first job" is nonsense. Attitudes like that are what keep the pay so low in the first place.

I just got an email from great lakes, interviews this friday (the 9th) and the 16th. They dont provide transportation to the interview, nor paid training. Place sounds like a joke.

You try Silver? Paid training, per diem every hour of training, hotel provided, transportation provided (except the interview), same equipment, and (slightly) better pay.

Where did you guys send your resume for Silver? I sent it to the pilot recruiting email address and got an immediate failure message.

I love the 550 (when the work is steady). I havent touched the thing in almost a month though and to supplement income im currently flying a desk. Honestly I could care less about the airlines (or who I work for), I just want some wings and a steady check. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some local corporate work opens up but it's sketchy right now. https://inside.gulfstreamair.com/emp...ils.aspx?id=60 is the direct link to the page to apply for the silver job. It says you can fax or apply online. Hope this helps.

I am looking for something commutable out of DEN. My family situation makes it so that I can not make my wife move with me. I'm having to look at a few places that I wouldn't normally consider under idea conditions and as time passes (I'm not currently flying) even they become more illusive.

It did help. I am short on GL's 90 day multi time requirements by less than 3 hours and I'm at 9x their total multi requirement. I think I still might be dead in the water there.

same boat as im married and have a house and have no desire to move for 24.00/hr.It sounded like they would bend on the 90 day requirement but who knows, they will find something to be picky about and stick with it. Good luck though.
