Me hear these things:
move 2 atrs from DFW to Mia
move more from sju to Mia
increase DFW atr ops by 40%
increase Mia atr and jet ops by 70%
most likely getting the 25 crjs and moving them northeast
parking the 135s
recalling soon
all this done this fall
disclaimer: I was not at the meeting

This afternoon, management announced a sizable vacancy bid in order to begin training pilots for the movement of our existing CRJ aircraft to ORD. Keep in mind, that this announcement is only half of the story.
Because management has yet to determine where it will deploy the 22 new CRJ deliveries, scheduled to begin arriving at a rate of two per month in June 2010, management has decided to wait an additional month prior to announcing displacements.
This delay will allow management to announce displacements that are predicated on staffing needs including the arrival of 22 new CRJ aircraft.
What we know at this point is as follows: There are no plans to retire any of Eagle’s existing fleet. All but two existing CRJ aircraft will be deployed in ORD beginning in April of 2010. Management is leaving two CRJ aircraft in DFW until a decision is made on where to deploy the 22 new deliveries. The arrival of new aircraft will inevitably drive an increase in staffing. Once we know when management expects to begin recalling furloughed Eagle pilots, we will immediately make that information available. Please keep these details in mind when updating your standing bid list.
