I dont know where you are living, but it is a relatively good commute from NYC and Florida. I would prefer to commute to SJU than DFW (more airlines/ more options)

Zero chance of that, sadly. The company has already spent a huge amount of money closing the base (relocation costs, displacement bids, training, etc).

Why re-open when you can just fill practically every gate with overnighters? Spend a ton of money on overnighting crews? (when most of them probably drive home on the overnight ) And look at that efficiency in the NYC base system...

Boston would be nice...or Raleigh...

Anyone hearing a rumor that CHQ is going to take over some flying in ORD with CRJs? Supposedly this is the big announcement coming up

I jumpseated out of MSP the other day and saw an American Connection inbound. Would that be CHQ? How can they have Connection flights with our furloughes. SOOO FRUSTRATING!
