acceleration altitude: flaps up! who engages the autopilot at 500ft? I opt to hand fly and at acceleration altitude I called for flaps up. CA said to still call for 200 speed... eh whatevas..im bored at my overnight....

Yea...you still have to call "SPEED 200"....DOH!!!!

What if after all this arbitration in regards to the flow throughs they end up staying at eagle? Will their be a need for 130 guys?

Like you said, "What if". I'm not convinced that eveything that's happening with reguard to our manning is with the anticipation of folks leaving for AA. For 2010, mainline is loosing a few more of its lines because they cannot fill there jets so we're picking them up (for now). Also, we're getting a couple "new" routes for AMR anyway.

However comma keep that popcorn ready.

When will you find out what airframe you're going to?

My impression from recruitment is that these vacanacies aren't based on any anticipation of guys leaving for AA. I was told that's the number of pilots they need in addition to what they have right now. I'm not sure if they are planning on the new planes coming to ORD with these numbers though.

The current numbers are supposed to account for 10 of the new CRJ's that should be delivered by this time next year.
