i'm wondering if i'd be better suited to go to MIA ATR...get there sooner and hope that when they hire i'll be able to hold a line?

or do i hold out 2 more months go on the jet and see how that bodes?

i'd be commuting out of BOS and in a year out of PHL. not sure what to do.

Go MIA ATR(or SJU), youll hold a line faster than the jet and if you like it then youll be able to commute from either BOS or PHL. If you dont like it you can upgrade to ORD CRJ FO later and get layovers in PHL when you move there.

I apologize for the billion questions I'll be asking in the coming days...

1) What will happen to those first 12 recalls that were in the MFA class? Will they stay put or get a chance to go to the jet side of things?

2) Most of the guys I was furloughed with are saying they are going to go with the jet...now with a 2/1 MFA class with 7 slots...what if they can't fill it?

3) are they looking to fill from the top down or the bottom up as far as those vacancies are concerned?

4) How many pilots are in MIA? Lots of reserve lines?

5) If I went with MFA and they hired 50 guys here shortly how would I fare? I assume it would depend on where everyone was and the companies desires at the time...

Thanks I appreciate any insight...my decision seems to be made but I'm trying to come at it at every angle...

There was a recent arbitration that stated approx 200 Eagle Flowthroughs should have entered class at AA June 2007 along with the recalled TWA pilots. The fate of those 200(approx) pilots will be determined by the meetings between all 4 parties (AA, AE, APA, AE ALPA) to negotiate a remedy. If they cant figure it out the arbitrator will get back in and create a solution himself. The 4 parties have 90 days to try to solve the problem and that ends in Feb I believe.

My bad! Sorry about that, but thank you for correcting me. At any rate, I'm glad to hear more good news. Congrats to everybody and best of luck.

10 of the 12 bid the jet or DFA on the last bid so only two are going to be in MIA.

I was told on the phone from recruitment that the guys that have been called back already, the ATR guys, have already bid out of the ATR if they wanted to on the last bid. So, the numbers we see are including their bids. What a ton of vacancies. I can't believe how many DFW FO EMB.

Is everyone called back at Eagle or are they on there way to doing that? If so, good for those recalls.
