he means the 300-1000 hour tt guys that say they are going to be at FedEx/UPS as soon as they hit 1000 tpic....

XJ has FO's who have 1000tt applying to fedex/ups? Whoever is doing that has wishful thinking.

Let's just say I have flown with 2 now, with less than 500tt, telling me how they will be at a major in two to three years. I just smiled and let the ramble on, and on, and on.

Beer accepted... I got the next round.

We (newhires) would do better to put in a good 5-6 years at XJ and then see if flow-through has had enough movement to become an option. Absent that, I don't see anyone moving on after getting 1000 hrs worth of anything.

Def agree with you on this one, some of the guys I know with low time including myself are at least 1-2 years away from being able to upgrade anyways. Why rush it, sit back and enjoy the flying!

Comair's CEO just announced to the pilot group that Mesaba is receiving the last CRJ900 that Comair was supposed to receive, the infamous #14
