Isn't that referring to the CR9's we already fly?

Just a question....In the merger does the contract still have the scope on Mesaba?

Also, I love the epaulets.....Nothing more embarrassing than civilian barbie jet pilots trying to pull a stunt and act like they are military fighter pukes.....Perhaps you guys could indent the back end of your caps as well!

Are you referring to the JCBA between DL and NW? The answer is yes. There was no relaxing on scope.

you're right, it must have been a mirage that I personally saw with my own eyes (and at least 3 other posters on here)

Why are you getting sooo upset about it? You do realize every airline has their share of tools don't you?

I was laughing too hard to se his name actually.
I'm sure if I search Myspace under "nine jet pilot" I'd be able to pick him out.
I have no doubt his actions didn't last more than a week or 2 before the rest of you XJ guys put him in his place. I know that's how it works over here at 9e.
cheers

I am not trying to put you down, but how can you honestly say that. I never saw this person, so I cannot personally make a judgement. But how could you personally hold accountable every FO that XJ has. Do you hold a uniform inspection everyday with every FO at every base. I don't think so.

I wouldn't get too excited about scope. As we all have seen, it means absolutely nothing and can change just like that. Lesson: don't assume anything, nothing is a sure thing or that your are going to be the supreme regional.

Some of you guys need to chill out and stop worrying about what might, could, should happen. No one knows whats going to happen except for the one who was just in recurrent and heard it from their sim instructor's wife.
I think next time I want to get the current events at XJ I will walk around the airport and look for Mr. FO with his crap turned upside down-he seems to be fairly respected. Although he probably doesn't exist anymore.

I understand why some of you guys especially at 9E are a little irritated at this thread. I do agree nothing is certain until it actually happens. Until then, it's just a rumor. I would have preferred if this thread could have started after the formal announcement of some sort has been made but we are all guilty of being impatient as well as being antsy. Things are simply just too fluid and uncertain so everyone is feeling a little insecure.

As for someone saying there are tools in every airline. Can't argue there. There are tools at XJ just like there are tools at 9E and at Compass. I have seen some arrogant low time new hires at XJ but that's the same at Compass and at 9E also. Someone said they don't say hi to you guys. Well, don't feel too bad because they don't say hi to me either. As for FOs wearing epaulets upside down, I have not seen anyone doing that but then I have not been to MEM lately so I don't know. Don't judge all XJ guys too harshly based on the conduct of few dipsticks.

Let's just hope things will improve for the airline industry. Otherwise, we will all be looking for a job elsewhere.

He was probably thinking... since I don't get paid more to fly the 76 seat jet instead of the 34 seat prop I better distinguish myself by turning my eppaulets upside down.

THe 15 CRJ announcement was made at the managers conference in DTW this last week. I guess it's true and word is spreading, but it seems odd that the company hasn't made a formal announcement to the rest of the employees.
