$1,200 a month and someone has the cluelessness to say "not a bad place to work"?

And I thought I was a wh(O)re at a regional.

Don't encourage this kind of stuff. If they can't find pilots because their pay is atrocious, they'll have to raise their rates. If they can't raise them, they'll go out of business. And that's the way it should be.

Otherwise, they can polish my pole for $1,200/mo.

I'm with Pennekamp. We couldn't have left that dump of an overnight too soon. Stinks to lose flying but I could let that one go.

Most people who are going to PW/NMA/GS are going there to be PIC. Then, the pay ins't bad at all. 30k+ a year to fly bout 10 people, home everynight, sounds pretty good to me.

I didn't say it was good place to work either... its a job... plus i'm an F/O on a single pilot airplane... how much pay do you expect??? Flying a 50 - 70 passenger jet for just a little more is the same thing or worse isnt it? We are all responsible in some way or another.

Well, you're only home every night if you live in Athens. I may have to move there. Right now I drive 80 miles there and back a day. its not that bad but it wil get old after a while

Yeah I've applied twice in the last 2 months with nothing...I'd take it since I live in Atlanta...60 miles I could deal with...

Any more training classes going on right now?

For the record, I wasn't saying GA Skies was a dump (never worked there), I was saying Macon, GA is a dump. Spent WAY too much time there. I think Airway was echoing that thought.
