As long as you have 135 IFR mins you have a good shot. I've never heard of PW/GS furlough anyone. The pay isnt the best but its better than GLA and with EAS routes you should be home every night so thats a bonus.
Also look into "Wings Air" They fly chieftans out of ATL. Cheers!

Congrats on passing your ride!
Anyone who works there, is there any way I can follow up with my resume/cover letter? I just sent in my stuff, but the website specifically says "no phone calls please." Usually I call whoever I'm applying with to make sure they recieved my application, but I don't want to call them when they say specifically not to.

When I applied, i didnt talk to anyone. All communications were done through email. All the way up to the interview. it was strange to me too.
You are talking GA Skies arent you? I know nothing about Pacific Wings.

If you work for Georgia Skies you know lots about pacific wings. You will find out soon that its all the same stuff only its operating in different states. They just call themselves Georgia Skies, or New Mexico Airlines.

yes, its the same company justy called something else in a different location (wouldnt make sense to cal lan airline pacific wings in Georgia) The Chief Pilot trained us and is a good guy but they have him running crazy. He trains us, he is the Chief pilot and he shuttles planes back and forth from GA to New Mexico. We'll see what its like. Wish me luck.
