while i agree with you... i think the real fight is about work rules and qol. as long as we have mesa bottom feeders and go jeters out there, the regionals will always be a place of low rates and slave labor. we work hard, and we should be paid our fare share!

I also agree. I am a career changer. After a decade in restaurant and flight training management, I am looking at a MASSIVE pay cut to pursue my real dream. I am freaking out. I totally agree that it is important to illustrate the negative economics of a company like Mesa and its subsidiaries. I just wish these posts could spend more time giving people like us (that could be making almost $70,000 in our old careers) advice on how to spend as little time as possible making regional pay...

Thanks for the info. So while factually a Mesa lineholder has more guaranteed days off in a year, it probably isn't true with the maximum line divisors each company can use. I'm guessing you have a maximum line divisor at Pinnacle which prevents the company from giving everyone 95 hour lines and only 10 days off. I have feeling Mesa will see a lot more of their minimum days off, because the line divisor is probably run really high there.

I believe our line divisor at Express is a maximum average of 88 hrs/line. I wish the line divisor was 75, but that is just to much wishful thinking.

thanks mooney.

Mesa
Reserve Guarantee = 8.6667 days per month
Line Holder Guarantee = 10.8333
Obviously not enough but as always plenty of inacuracies abound on the regional forum.
You guys need to get a calculator.

Grow up children, what is the point of this thread? I'm not a MESA supporter, and I think the company sucks, but again, what is the point of this stupid thread?

i have a calculator, and i think i already gave a math lesson. this has become a "defend mesa thread" to a "contract comparison" lets focus at the task at hand and remember why mesa is really is the bottom feeder of the regionals.
