Pinnacle Displacements

Take everything you hear from Clive and completely dump it. I was told in my new hire class he was working very hard to get us the contract we deserved. Well over a year later....look where we are. Believe 1% of what you hear and 99% of what you see. With this displacement bid you see, you and every single one of you guys in class right now are a split hair away from the street. You will be the first ones to be let go. Welcome to Pinnacle.
ps. I know thats mean, but thats how it is.

He has most of nonconnah either scared ****less or snowed on how dandy things are. The speeches the give in NH class is your first taste of the kool aid, plan on a lot more until you hit the line and realize you have been had. Whatever promises they make, unless it is writing (and even then they don't hold to them) is only worth the paper it is written on.
CS had a chance to get the pilot group behind him, he is just not that interested, that is the sad and honest truth.
I also agree with windsor, those new hires.. better hope that you get to the line before a furlough, otherwise you will have wasted 8-12 weeks of your life without any chance of being recalled.. The company has a poor history on recalling non-seniority list pilots.

I ride on purple on a weekly basis. 90% of the guys ask me how Pinnacle is, then ask me what I think of Clive in the next breath. They (purple) know how he is. Especially the guys that have been around for a while.
FF on the other hand, seems to have a much better rep over there. I know why. Its pretty pathetic what he's doing with this (9E) pilot group though.

I just wish US companies ran like German ones--any unionized labor has a seat on the board of directors of most automakers, airlines, etc...that would do a little bit to instill some reality in the boardroom when the big wigs make decisions.

I may be wrong, but I think United did this a few years ago....

The company can not do that unless Colgan and Pinnacle were one company. Delta would have to sign a separate agreement with Colgan. Don't get freaked out by what super senior atl captain says on the message board.
