2 clases a month of 8 each for the rest of the year. (Planned). I don't know how far in advance the clases are filled with the guys in the pool, but for sure there's a lot of swimmers.

Some of the new city pairs are for October:
CVG-BDL
CVG-BOS
CVG-EWR
CVG-LGA
CVG-SAT
CVG-MEM
CVG-MCI
CVG-MIA
CVG-TPA
LGA-MSY
EWR-ATL
I am not certain, but I heard that we are taking some of Freedom's 900 that were based in the New York area. I also heard we are going to increase our flying to 72 daily flights.

Well I guess that most of the people in the pool have class dates, but the upcoming interviews are for a pool with no specific class dates, anyhow, don't take my word for it, I'm not in the trainning department or the interview team, actually, I don't even drive close to nonconnah.........

I laugh when I hear the later, freedom 900s? we still got to take delivery of our own already deferred airplanes....... Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying is impossible, but that rumor started not long ago and was pure speculation because the CVG flying.

Are Mesaba and Pinnacle offering any preferential hiring for furloughed Comair pilots?

They might come in handy if you're picking up CRJ flying in CVG or JFK, since a lot of them live there already...

Plain vanilla answer,.....NO. But, having CRJ time is always a plus, specially if you ask the check airman that is doing OE on you..........I think it's a little bit late to come from Comair to 9E, last year was the year, we had a good number of Comairs FOs coming to 9E and doing the quick upgrade. I personally like every single guy I met from Comair here in 9E, so good luck !
